SFW Launch In early October 1999 a full page full colour advert appeared in Fresh Produce Journal as part of the advertising campaign to promote the Star Fruit Wars cartoon strip. The first strip "The leek" appeared October 15th 1999 on page 35 and the advert preceded it on page 31. The text of the advert is recorded. Look out for what the Fruit Press says and the reference to Sir Vin's Mum. 
Christmas Cracker Now a prized collectors item, this full colour limited edition SFW Christmas Card was distributed to a lucky few people in the fresh produce industry Christmas 1999.
150 Episodes On the 20th September 2002 a double page editorial appeared on pages 20 and 21 of the Fresh Produce Journal to celebrate the 150th episode of Star Fruit Wars.
